Enjoy the sunshine while you use 90% of your body's muscles. This great cardiovascular exercises boost the benefits of ordinary walking. This Power Walk Pilates class will focus on optimal breathing, arm positioning and pelvic motion, while working within 60-75% of your maximum heart rate. Many people with hip, knee or foot problems have found that working with poles takes the pressure off their joints. After 30-40 minutes of walking at a moderate pace, each class will end with a series of challenging vertical Pilates exercises that will challenge your balance and flexibility. We recommend you purchase your own poles, however poles are available for rent. This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Classes all held at Lake Ontario Park
